Hi everyone, I am Kyle Lander and I am from High Springs, Florida. I am currently a senior at the University of Florida and plan on graduating in May of 2023. Additionally, I am majoring in Sports Journalism.

While at the University of Florida, I have been able to improve my writing skills and push myself into new territory that was not accessible before I entered college. And for the past two years, I have been given the opportunity to work with ESPN WRUF in their immersion experience called ESPN Gainesville as a sports journalist covering high school athletics, college football, baseball, softball and basketball. The types of work I did for ESPN Gainesville are game recaps, previews and player features.

If it is not obvious already, sports are a constant in my life. Sports make me feel at peace whenever I am watching them unless it is my favorite team then I am nervous. My favorite teams are the Florida Gators, Tampa Bay Rays, Oklahoma City Thunder and Chelsea F.C.
